4. How do I know if my order is accepted?

Once your order is received by us, we will send you a text message as confirmation and an estimation of collection time.

5. Why do you require up to 1 week to process my order?

We do not believe in adding preservatives to prolong the expiry date. This allows a healthy turnover rate sustained by freshness. Furthermore, we are very much involved in the day to day running of economical rice business. We thank you for your understanding as we fine-tune our processes.

Tip: Try to place your orders before Friday and you can expect to receive your chilli in the following week.

6. How long can I store your belachan for?

A valid question but one that is highly dependent on not only storage conditions but also involves the manner of usage.

For optimal storage, please keep it refrigerated and use a clean spoon to scoop your desired amount onto a separate mixing/serving dish. This method allows your belachan to be kept for up to 2 weeks*.

We, as do our elders, advocate that the best tools to decide a food ‘use-by’ date should not be a mass printed label or a sticker but our eyes, noses and above all, common sense.
